When I use a dependent picklist on a portal page, it shows all values of the picklist instead of the selection based on the other picklist. In Rollbase itself the picklist function shows the correct related values. With regard to portal pages, is the lack of dependency by design or is this maybe a bug?
To clearify my post: the problem is related to the detailed search component on the portal page.

Dependent picklist by design allows dependent values to be related to only one main value, given which you could search on dependentpicklist item itself as value of mainpicklist item would be a constant for any given dependent item.
So a detailed search widget containing the dependent picklist field configured is all you would need.
