Rollbase 2.1.0 Linux installer requires GUI mode issue

Installing on Redhat 6.3 64-bit with Java 7 64-bit and 32-bit I am getting:

Preparing to install...
Extracting the JRE from the installer archive...
Unpacking the JRE...
Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive...
Configuring the installer for this system's environment...

Launching installer...

Graphical installers are not supported by the VM. The console mode will be used instead...

Progress Rollbase 2.1 do not support console mode installation.

Choose "OK" to abort this installation.

I see on other posts where the answer is to do the install manually or setup a GUI interface on your Linux server as the install only supports a GUI interface.  Since this is the only *nix based Progress product I have ever had to install with a GUI mode on a non-GUI interface, when will this restriction be removed in the installer?

If it cannot or in addition to when will there be instructions provided with the installer or in the core documentation to let users know what they need to do?

A console mode installer is on our list of things to do, but hasn't been scheduled yet.
