Now that Rollbase is formally part of Progress Software (Nasdaq: PRGS) we have been expanding the team and investing in more powerful infrastructure for Rollbase Hosted Cloud. As part of this investment we will be moving Rollbase Hosted Cloud from our current servers on Rackspace to a faster and dynamically scalable cloud infrastructure powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS). On Saturday August 3rd we will be taking Rollbase Hosted Cloud offline for this move. The system will be unavailable from 11:30pm EDT Friday August 2nd until 11:59 pm EDT Saturday August 3rd. After the move, all Rollbase Hosted Cloud customers and users can expect a faster user experience and API response times from all Rollbase services. On August 5th you will notice many rollbase.com webpages automatically redirect you to corresponding pages on the main Progress website at www.progress.com. The Rollbase login page, portals, and other URLs that are part of the Rollbase Hosted Cloud service will not be redirected and will not change.
