Survey score

I have a survey with a radio button field on my portal page and would like to get the results to pull in data on the survey score 'field' on the Account object. What is the best approach? Update trigger or object script trigger. A brief example would be appreciated. Thanks

I do not have a scrrenshot at the moment but the field is called "score" and it is an integer field. An anonymous email goes out to the client with a link to take the survey. After the survey is taken I would like the score field to pull that data in 1 thru 10 for the score. Hope this helps?
