When I lock an object (Order), the related and dependent object (order line) can also be locked. the picture below showing the lock on the object (Order) and the Edit/Delete-buttons on the lines are removed.
When we click on the related object, the lock icon appears at the top.
But the Edit/Delete-buttons are still active and the lock-field on the record is not enabled.
Is this an error? Do we need to lock all depended records manually?

Correct, locking only applies to the record that is locked, not related records. Currently there is no way to automatically lock related records when a record is locked so you would have to manage this programmatically with triggers, etc.
