As it seems, the field validation isn't working on portals?
Is it a normal behavior?
If on a field i put a validation that contains only :
return "Error";
I can still create records on portal, on pages that contain this field.
I get no message at all at field level.

I do not confirm the issue - seems to work fine.
Sorry, my mistake. I forgot that the mandatory fields (red fields) had to all be correctly set before the field validation took place.
