Import Batch Job

Hello, We have been testing the new "Import" type of Batch Job. The imports are not working. The FTP access works. By looking at our FTP server log files, we can see that the user connects, gets the file, and then disconnects. When running the batch job using "Run Now" link, it prints "Event test import finished successfully". However, no lines are being imported. We made sure that the conversion map is good, and we can import the file manually from the object list page using the same conversion map. It works fine. We have tried with CSV files, XLS files, and every possible action (create, update, create or update) When looking at the log files, we get the following lines, in "main.log" :
