As it seems, when we set an Object to be an "Event", so that it can be seen in the calendar component, the number of records for this object isn't shown anymore in the list components.
I believe this problem has been here for a very long time because we noticed one of our "Event" object to have this problem monthes ago.
We create an object that has two records : You can see the number of records in the list component :
We set the object to be an "Event" so it can appear in the calendar component :

In some cases (like complex permissions) total number of records is not shown.

Thank you for your answer.
We have not set any kind of permission. The object has default permission, and the administrator has full rights on the object.
We are not using LDF type of permission. We just set the object to be an "Event".

Where can I see the issue?
I'll investigate the issue.
It is not practical to determine total number of calendar events because some of them may be hidden (have "private" box checked).
Works as designed.
