We added an Embedded Quick Create (EQC) section to the New Page of our object. We then synchronized the New Page to the Edit and View Pages. The EQC section was also copied over, although its fields are unpopulated. On the Edit page the controls are active, but in addition to not being prepopulated with the related objects data, any changes are not saved to the related object. I suspect some special handling is needed for EQC's inside the Synchronize code, similar to how Grids and Views currently appear to have special synchronize handling.
This will be fixed in the next release which is due on Saturday.
