We mistakenly created a bunch of clients without configuring Amazon S3 and nowof coursewe're worried about storage space. I read in the documentation that one can configure S3 only during the client creation process. I completely understand, however, I'm wondering how possible it would be for me to brute force my way to moving existing files to S3. Is this at all possible or are we stuck? Any advice is much appreciated.
Sorry but we do not provide special support to move to / from S3. If you configure Customers (with correct credentials) to use S3 from that moment the system will store uploaded files on S3.
Thanks, Pavel. I'm guessing that if we were to configure S3 for existing clients, that links to their existing files would be invalidated. Is this correct? I think we'll simply resize our volume for existing clients, and put all new clients on S3 from the beginning.
Correct, you'll have to re-upload (manually) existing files.
