Problem with customer sessions being terminated prematurely.

Posted by Rollbase User on 26-Jun-2012 10:52

I am a developer here at Good Done Great. Several customers have reported being "logged out" after 30mins and lost work. Our project manager reviewed the customer zones and had the same experience. He found their Security Settings = Low (details page of the customer zone) He reviewed rollbase documentation which indicated "low" should not log someone out for hours. We don't know why everyone is being logged out after only 30mins and proposed it could be another setting somewhere else overriding. Do you know of such a setting? Thanks! Ben

Please examine log files (available from Customer View page). Also it would be helpful if you tell me exact text of error message.

Are you sharing passwords? If someone logs in with the same password your session will be terminated.

HI Pavel,

Thanks for your quick reply.

This seems to be happening globally, with our own employees as well as with clients. Passwords are not shared. The text below is from our log files. Is this helpful?

Login from other browser with the same credentials will terminate original session: "Other user login" I can improve wording, however.
