I have created two objects one is employee it contains the complete information of employee whereas the another object is tasksheet . Also i have created one login form in which an employee can login their account and fill task sheet but when they click on tasksheet i get an application error may be because task sheet page contains the tasksheet object url and the employee view page is of object type of employee. Please help me to store data in another object
What do you mean by "application error" - access denied?
I get this error which is written below
Application Error
Your request could not be completed because:
Cannot find data record with id -1
It looks like you're hitting "View" or "Edit" page which needs a record to display. Normally this record is identified by "&id=123" parameter in URL. Or it can be newly created record.
In your case none of these mechanisms work, so you're getting am error. Please review Chapter 12 and learn more about building Portals.
