Hi I seem to be having problems filtering views using a Date field. Filtering works if I filter on a Date/Time field, but filtering on a Date only field doesn't. This is on a private cloud. We have verified that on the hosted platform it works fine - ie filtering works for both date and date/time fields. Private cloud is running on Ubuntu. TIA Fil

And to throw something else into the mix, with a Date/Time field in the regular filter expressions (marked 1 through 5) I cannot select "equals" or "not equal to" as the operand on the filters, with a Date field I can. However, the preset Date filter selections does work for Date/Time field equals TODAY. See image below.

I need the full filtering capabilities so I can filter for a specific day (not TODAY)

It looks like "Delivery Date" is, indeed, Date/Time field - so "equals" option is not available. Consider converting it into "Date" field.

Yes but that hits the original problem. Filtering doesn't work on a Date field on my private cloud install.

Please be more specific about "does not work". If problem exists I will fix it promptly.

The problem is only seen on Private Cloud. The result set returned is incorrect - instead of display 1 record, it displays none. For example:

- With a Date field called "Delivery Date"

- With one record verified to have a Delivery Date of today

- add filter "Delivery Date" "equals" "TODAY"

- returns 0 results

- replacing "TODAY" with a real date makes no difference

- using "Current Year" instead "TODAY" works, but MONTH doesn't

Not working means an empty result set.

In Master zone use System > Debug and log actual SQL queries into query.log file. Let me know if you find something wrong.
