I was trying to accomplish a similar application, like the Partner Portal Tutorial video. After watching the tutorial, my problem is that when I test the Partner's ability to create his own contacts in the portal... I cannot get the record to be automatically associated with the Partner. The record is created, but then I have to go into the user account (admin panel) and manually associate the new record with the Partner Account that I created it with in the portal. Can anyone help?
You need to have lookup field (relationship) present on the page when you create a new Contact.
