Hi there. We have started to build a Project managment systems and within that we have 3 main Entities. Projects, Work Packages and Tasks. We have built our relationships, which are mostly one to many however we also require that we can link Work Packages to WorkPackages. Therfore we have chosen the Work Package (Hierarchy) relationship type and this seems to work, however where we are falling down is the menu or option to relate a WorkPackage to a WorkPackage. Its also worth noting that the Work Packages do not sit under their own tab. they only accessible under the main Project Record. We seem to be unable to add a Linked WorkPackage menu item on to the WorkPackage form/list. Thanks very much
You can create a tab for an existing object (Packages) if you don't have one.
For hierarchical relationships, just like for any other relationships, you can add Related List component on View Page (into separate section). That will give you "Attach" and "Detach" links along with "Quick Create" and other capabilities.
