I have a text field that is populated with "This has data."
I want to clear the text field so I created an object script trigger that sets the text field to an empty string and ran the trigger on all records:
As expected, it did clear out the text field:
Currently API ignores empty values, but I think we should allow clearing values through API. Please check after the next server update.

It's weird because it does actually clear the text field, but the text field is not considered "Empty" when using view filters.
