How do we disable the "More Actions" in the View page of a record? We don't want our regular users to view the options - e.g. Clone, Convert, Send records.
1. Click "Edit this page"
2. Highlight "List of ..." component
3. On the left panel uncheck "Enable Group Actions"
That should do the trick.
This works when I view all records.
However, the More Action options still appear when I try to view one record at a time.
What exactly you're trying to achieve? View-only mode?
We are not allowing our regular users to view the More Action Options when they try to view their own employee record.
For example, I am an employee and wanted to check a record containing my personal details. What happens is that when I try to view my own employee record, I can see the More Action options like Convert, Send, Find Duplicates. I should not see this Option.
OK, I can add a new property to "View" page: "Hide More Actions drop-down".
Create a version of View page with that option and assign it to your regular employee. That should work.
