Hide the List View Label from display follow up with screens

I think you do not call it a label. I attached a screenshot as a guide.

Sorry, but I have to decline this request. You just need a template which loops through related records. Chapter 6 of documentation explains tow to do that.

but a template field can only be displayed in object specific pages. i need to display my list view on a generic page where a template field is not available.

Yes, but you can use Template HTML component - it's very similar.

Are template HTML component the same as template fields? Is this also a field type?

Almost. Template HTML and Script components can be added to pages by dragging the "New HTML Component" and "New Script Component" items onto the page. You can then create your own table by looping over records.

You can also create a field of type "Template" which allows you to do the same thing, then you can use this field in the page directly or you can use that field inside a page-level Template or Script component. So there are several ways to go about this.
