Why can't the target view page on a related list or search be an edit page? Why can it only be a view? It seems like a lot of extra clicks to be able to edit an object in a list.
In "Actions" column there is an "Edit" link to edit page. As for view page - this is consistent with the est of Rollbase application.
The action column in your related list will have "Edit" and "Del" action links available if the user has permissions for them -- so users can edit in one click.
