Trying to save an instance of an object returns an error wit

I am getting an error when trying to save a new instance of an Object [payment]. On the 'New' Page for the object, there is a Lookup data element which gets highlighted with the following text : "Error:org.mozilla.javascript.Undefined@1ecda50." I have googled the '1ecda50' and the entries returned lead me to believe that it is related to some sort of time-out. This object does have several triggers which run 'After Create'. Each 1 of 9 triggers checks a picklist value. Based on the trigger value, a new instance for 1 of several data objects can be created. I am thinking that these triggers are running long, timing out, then giving the aforementioned error.
