On my Employer Object the record field called "Employer" keeps defaulting to read only., How do I fix this. Everytime i fix it and save the form it goes right back to read only...
I assume you mean "Employee" field. This field is calculated through name template
{!firstName} {!lastName}
So its read only.
If you want to change the record name field to not be auto-generated (i.e. not read only), then you need to edit the object definition and clear out the name template.
