An opportunity has arisen for Analyst Developers to join our dynamic and well established development team.  The successful candidate will be a highly self motivated proactive problem solver seeking a software development career in the financial services industry.  Different entry points are possible, depending on skills/experience.

As well as being a technologist, the successful candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills as you will be required to work closely with a wide variety of internal user groups throughout all aspects of the development lifecycle. Stakeholder demand and business visibility is high so you need to be delivery focused and able to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

This challenging and extremely rewarding role would suit a self-motivated innovative individual, with a passion for software development and evolutionary technologies.  Experience or an interest in the financial services sector also extremely beneficial.

The core systems are written in PROGRESS ABL, and run on distributed, replicated high performance blade technology.  Satellite systems which support this are written in the most appropriate language for the specific task, and include C++, Java, Python, PHP etc.  There is no demarcation between development teams, so cross-language development opportunities are abundant for motivated individuals.  Cross-training will also be provided where needed.
