Progress 4GL Developer

(based in Zürich, fixed term employment for 4-6 months)

Tasks and Project

Our Client has more than 50 business applications (fat client Small Apps, non-web based) using a report builder engine (also Progress reporting tool). Now the most important reports need to be migrated and we hire additional assistance for that.

PDF Creation and Office Automation will be used which will be included directly in the Progress 4gl code

• Progress is a RDBMS System with its own 4GL programming language.
• Progress is often used by partners to develop third party applications which then be distributed to further customers.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience developing by Progress (recently!)
• Solid understanding of RDBMS Systems
• Banking experience is an asset
• Fluent English required, German is an asset
