Your challenge:

Ready to develop the technology that addresses the challenges of modern agriculture?

Your role:

This is a full stack role, producing software products that solve complex challenges around managing agriculture data and assets. These are important real world problems, utilising diverse cutting edge technology.

You will be supporting our professional services team, providing estimations, providing technical mentoring for junior team members and manning our support rota. It’s a semi-Agile waterfall environment, with shared code ownership, development cycle reviews and retrospectives, working from formal specifications based on customer requirements.

About you:

• You are ready for a challenging mid / senior level Progress OpenEdge Developer role
• You bring proven Progress OpenEdge coding abilities – 10.2B and later
• You bring proven abilities integrating with Progress OpenEdge RDBMS
• You are proactive in achieving customer solutions, improving design and finding better ways of working

Potential projects:

• Use your knowledge of the OERA and design patterns to define the next generation architecture of our products
• Use your skills in unit testing and refactoring to mentor the team through architectural changes and OE version updates
• Use your knowledge of modern OE techniques to bring the modern world of UI design and interactivity into the world of agricultural ERP software
• Use your knowledge of best practise to define and roll out changes to development process to improve the team’s performance
