This could an issue that has previously been reported to Tech Support with Sonic version 6.x, but could not be reproduced. I would strongly encourage you to talk with Progress Tech Support as your information could help track down the cause.
You could try to reinitialise the broker database and recovery logs. This means that any messages currently stored in the database (and recovery logs) will be lost. Instructions can be found in Knowledge Base solution S1213: "Creating or reinitializing a broker's storage".
