Hi all,
Our company is now currently kicked off a project which handshakes with various telecoms over the World for processing SMS. It sounds a bit like those mobile aggregators do. One of our partner is providing their message queues for us to connect with it, which it's queuing system is powered by Sonic MQ. We would like to ask if Progress would provide any API for us to program with Sonic MQ (like Active MQ or JBoss MQ) ? Here is our technical information for the project:
Language: J2EE 1.5
Application Server: Tomcat 5.5 / Grassfish
Framework: JMS 1.1, Spring Framework 3.0
Many thanks for your attention.
Yes, Sonic have api's, but I am not sure if they provide anything without buying the product or how you can obtain that if you don't have the product.
Your partner should be able to provide you with client components.
Hi Molala,
While Jimmy is absolutely correct, your partner should be able to provide these resources, the latest version of Sonic documentation can also be found publicly available here:

As you are intending to work with Sonic MQ from a client perspective you're probably looking for SonicMQ API Reference.
Kind regards
Kevin
