EMEA PUG Challenge 2011 - Call for speakers

After the great success of last year, the European Progress User Groups will again be organizing a technical and business oriented conference, this time to be held on November 3rd and 4th in Amsterdam / The Netherlands. This event is expected to be the premier conference for the Progress community in Europe for the year 2011.

Our goal is to deliver practical and highly valuable technical content to our attendees - people involved in developing, integrating and managing applications:

- Demonstrates techniques and/or technology

- Provides/discusses code examples and illustrative diagrams

- Is informative and instructional

We are now accepting session proposals for EMEA PUG Challenge 2011!

Sessions can be organized as a detailed how-to presentation, can focus on best practices, or can be a case studies that show the power of the Progress Software products or related technologies and industry trends.

We are planning a number of parallel tracks with topics on OpenEdge Administration, Development and Architecture, Business Process Management, Workflow Automation, Integration Technologies , SOA, SaaS, Event Processing, Mobile Apps, Web and Social Media. We are also accepting proposals for practical hands on workshops and all other topics of interest.

All sessions will be 60 minutes in length. If you feel your session needs more time, state that that in your proposal. It may be agreed that your session would be scheduled for two breakout slots. Speakers will receive a complimentary conference pass (max one speaker per session), travel expenses will be covered partly based on the region the speaker is coming from (max one speaker per session), please indicate estimated travel expenses together with your submission. Speakers are expected to deliver copies of their slides before the conference so that we can distribute them to the conference attendees.

If you want to play an active role in this exciting conference please send your session proposal to I-want-to-participate@pug-challenge.eu - all proposals are due June 15th 2011. Proposals are requested to be sent as MS Word compatible documents attached to an email.

We are also calling for commercial sponsors for the event. If your organization is interested in supporting the event and leverage this unique opportunity to present your product and service offerings to a wide audience please get back to us as well so that we can discuss details! Only commercial sponsors will be allowed to do commercial presentations during the conference.
