Hi All,
Subject : Unable to find or download sonicMQ of Linux version from Progress web site.
First -
Under this below , i can just see only download option for sonicMQ-windows , then what about Linux ?
http://web.progress.com/en/sonic-landing/confirmation-page/thanks-evaluate-sonic-esb-workbench.html
Second -
My client people downloaded and installed the "sonicMQ-8" software on RedHat Linux operating system ( i'm not sure from where did they get it ).
Inorder to add various stuff like queues , topics.. i guess we need to get into the sonic management console.. so for this console to launch.. I just tried like hitting /home/install/sonic/MQ8.0/bin/startmc.sh
But this unable to start console... , and when i asked client on how to start the console... they simple asked me to install some sought of client on desktop/laptop.. and thru it.. can launch console.
But what's that ? What needs to be installed in-order to launch console from start programs which makes easy ?
Can someone help me on this....???
Thanks.
Arun
The evaluation version just comes for Windows. For all other platforms you have to download it from http://www.progress.com/esd
When i hit the URL which you've provided me... asking me for login once again.. which needs to provide like serial number , etc...
Does normal user ( any user ) won't be able to access this page? Need to buy ?
Was this not free version to download like windows version?
thanks.
That's correct yes. Evaluation ("free") versions are just for Windows and 30days only.
