Sonic tuning for 8.5.1

Those files should be available for 8.5.1, where are you looking (e.g. what have you installed, downloaded, etc.)?

When I used 7.6, the files were automatically added to this folder:

C:\Sonic\Docs7.6\tuning

I have searched the entire 8.5.1 install directory.

There is no Docs folder from 8.0 onwards. Now, all the docs are available online. I think you are looking for http://documentation.progress.com/output/Sonic/8.5.1/Docs8.5/books/mq_tuning.pdf

You can access the documentation from the Start Menu -> Find "Documentation" option -> Access Documentation -> [There are bunch of doc links here, figureout what you need]

The spreadsheets you're after are listed under the "SonicMQ Broker Memory Sizing Worksheets" heading here:

If you prefer to have the documentation (including the sizing spreadsheets) installed locally this is still an option: open the 'progress_sonic_welcome.htm' file in the Sonic home directory (in your Sonic installation) and follow the 'Download Documentation Packages' link.  Here's the direct URL:
