SOAP with attachements for Sonic ESB 8

Hi,

I am working in a team of Java developers. We are creating a mission critical SOA implementation and using Sonic ESB version 8.

I haven't spent much time with the workbench, but my colleagues reassured me several times that if one sends a SOAP message with attachements from a source outside the ESB to a web service inside an ESB process, that the attachement can't be retrieved inside the process.

With such a professional ESB as Sonic, it is hard for me to believe that this is true.

Are there are any examples of how a SOAP message with attachements is processed? Is there any documentation related to this? Have any of you dealt with this issue? Could you provide some code samples please?
