Our network guys are looking to run our static websites behind Cloudfare, to mitagate the impact of DDOS attacks.
They have questioned the possibility of running everything behind the same service, including AppServers/WebSpeed.
WebSpeed might be okay, as it's a HTTP GET/POST implementation. The AppServers, on the other hand, use longer lived connections, so I feel this might be an issue.
Has anyone run AppServers behind a service like CloudFlare, or is this unadvisable?
