Angularjs as frontend?

Posted by agent_008_nl on 01-Dec-2014 01:48

I'm looking at angular for the first time now that I would like to create a small sample crud application with a 'ria' frontend, the jsdo and progress rest etc. I am not as excited about angular (and of course the uncritical - hooray, hooray, see what's new in our shop! - selling of it) as a growing number of progress specialists seems to be, so I would like to share the thoughts of someone who thought thorougly about angular. See this link http://tutorials.jenkov.com/angularjs/critique.html.  As a short sideway read http://robertnyman.com/2008/11/20/why-inline-css-and-javascript-code-is-such-a-bad-thing/ (in angular you see lots of javascript function calls embedded in html).

Kind regards,
