Getting started with OERA sample code

Hi

Just looking at some code examples for OERA at the following link. https://community.progress.com/community_groups/openedge_architecture/w/openedgecloudarcade/839.introduction-to-dataviews-iii-service-adapter.aspx. How do I go about starting a business entity object beCustomer and then running a fetchData(). How do I start the beCustomer.p from a procedure editor in my own ABL session (don't want to try appserver at the moment).
