AutoEdge on 10.1B

I recognize that the supported version is for 10.1A, but might not one be allowed to try to install it with 10.1B?

The installer says "This version of AutoEdge requires OpenEdge 10.1A01 or higher" ... isn't 10.1B "higher"?

Yes, it is higher. But still in the code of the install program several things need to be changed to allow both 10.1A and 10.1B, and then chose which one to use if you have both installed.

We are currently working on these changes and testing the installer and AutoEdge itself, but I don't have an ETA yet. I'll post here when it's available!

Given that 10.1B has been available in beta since before AutoEdge was released, why wasn't this tested up front?

Who says it wasn't, but that we were awaiting the 10.1B FCS before posting any updates ?

Err, were it I and I tested it and had it fail the install on 10.1B, I would have fixed the installer before it was ever released so that I didn't have to do another release.
