Progress Explorer trouble

To connect to admin server, Progress Explorer prompts for a username and a password.

My question is: which username?

I've tried to configure it with the -user and -password options of proadsv, but every time I do it, I receive a message: User ... not authorised to run admin server, and the process won't start.

How can this problem be solved?

I am using OpenEdge 10.1B.

Have you tried Administrator?

You might get an answer more quickly on the Data Management forum where this kind of issue is normally discussed.

Typically the username is that of the account you were logged in on, when you installed the product.
