Hi,
Is this document available yet? I noticed in a previous thread that it was being reviewed in September.
I am currently investigating what we would need to do to setup and run a demo environment on the Amazon cloud and have read the first three papers.
One additional question that I have been asked is - Once an instance has been created and software installed who is responsible for the maintenance of the operating system?
Thanks very much,
Adam Nicholson
Hi Adam
I'm not 100% sure where we are on the paper, so I'll look into it and we'll let you know.
But with respect to your second question, you are! Once you've created your AMI's then it's your responsibility as the provider to manage the O/S in terms of updates etc.
Also, have you registered for Progress Arcade, our initiative to help folks get into the cloud? If not check out http://web.progress.com/en/openedge/arcade.html and register to be informed of updates as we move towards delivery.

Has this been publicized outside of the Exchange Online?
Tim
Hi Tim
Yes, we've started to socialize Progress Arcade, we covered it at the final Face 2 Face events in Canada and I beleive it was covered at the EMEA PUG Challenge general session.
