Hi!

A customer of mine would like to know if it's possible to script the install not only the installation of the webclient, but a webclient app as well (contrary to installing the prowcapc via a http link).

thanks!

Hi Bronco,

Using Padeo (pdo.riverside-software.fr), you can generate MSI packages for WebClient applications. Those MSI packages can be deployed through any deployment solution, as it's *the* standard Windows install format. The Webclient itself can also be repackaged in order to avoid losing hair dealing with the silent install "feature".

Hi, we have been using http://www.wininstaller.com/. Cheap and does what we need. Just send me a message if you need details.

We use installshiled to install WC as well as the app.

We moved away from the http link years ago as it had too many issues.
