Are there minimum OS/memory/hardware requirements for PASOE?

The only requirement is that PASOE can run on only 64 bit platform. Memory and hardware requirements will vary based on your application and needs. The minimum I have seen is that it can run on a windows machine with 1 Core CPU with 2 GB RAM

This may be so. On the other hand, I don’t think /anything/ useful will run on a 1 core cpu with 2 GB RAM. More so if you use windows, which wants lots of RAM.

These days, it is very hard to buy a box that has only one processor.

One of the big advantages of PASOE is that it can run multiple stateful 4GL sessions at the same time. But without enough memory and processors, performance will be awful. 1 CPU is nowhere near enuf.

The reason you have to have a 64-bit system for PASOE is that you will not gain any of the benefits of PASOE with a tiny box. 2 GB of RAM is nowhere near enough. Nor is CPU. I would suggest 16 GB of RAM. My laptop has that much and 4 processors. Hardware is very cheap nowadays. 16 GB and 4 processors is what I would recommend as a bare minimum.
