Hi All
I was looking for some information about Data Transformation between Progress and SQL Server,
Basically we have Progress Database running on HP-UNIX server and we are planning to build Datawarehouse using MS SQL Server, so far I worked on ORACLE, DB2 and SQL Server.
I am wondering is it possible I can import data from Progress Database to SQL Server using SQL statement without using Progress Program
and UNIX Script. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
Regards

Not sure if this will help you, but I've had some success using the Merant ODBC package do a data import via the import wizard in SQL7
Hi Smith
Thanks for your response, How is the performance when you do an import from Progress to SQL Server.
Thanks

We have used the Merant ODBC connector (desktop version from Programmer's Paradise) to transfer data to MSSQL 7
