Connecting to progress with VB

I have a customer who has progress 6.2 and wants me to write a program in Visual basic. Is there anyway to talk to his database? I don't think he wants to upgrade. Thanks for your help.

Hello Greg

I am using Merant and Openlink Drivers to connect from VB to Progress 7.3e,8.3a , 8.3b they work Ok

You can get these drivers from their site

1) www.merant.com

on this site look for datadirect ODBC drivers

i am using merant 3.11 for Progress 7.3e

2) www.openlinksw.com

search for your OS ,Client,Version etc

Both these companies provide documentation and support so you should have no problem.

Regards
