Performance problems after migration to 9.1.c

Posted by LegacyUser on 22-Nov-2001 05:29

My database was in version 7.3e in a server HP (K370 with 4 processors and HP/UX 10.20).

Now the database is in version 9.1c in server Compaq (ES40 with 4 processors and Tru64 5.1).

The buffers were incremented, the processors have more power, the software is newer, the application is the same and the performance is equal and sometimes worse than before. Does anybody have any idea?

The migration is not to blame, this is a standard performance issue. Try

details.
