I am using Progress version 8.3b and have my environment set to start 1 BIW
and 8 APW's every time my DB starts. I have a script that shuts the DB down
every night to backup the DB and within the last two weeks or so, I have noticed
that the BIW and APW's are not starting on all occasions. The only change
I can recall that has been made to the server within the last two weeks was
an increase in physical memory and an increase in the –B parameter.
Any suggestions???
