Dear all,
I have a customer run Progress 8.3D on IntelPentium III with 1 GHz, Memory
256 MB and O/S SCO Unix (OpenServer). Then we migrating from existing system
to SUN Platform which is 750 MHz/cache 8MB, Memory 1 GB. and Solaris 8 rev10/01
64 bits on 36GB FC-AL disk, swap 1 GB.
Actually, Sun Platform have faster performance than IntelPlatform. But the
problems is Sun Platform slower than IntelPentium Platform. When the customer
running the query database then the Sun Platform performance was slower then
IntelPentium Platform about 15%.
If any people have suggestion or information about this problem or how to tuning
