Is it possible to install/run OpenEdge 10 or 11 on SUN Solaris 8?

Doesn't look that way:

Version 10:

Version 11:

http://download.progress.com/open/openedge/pag/openedge_11_availability_guide_2013_03_21.pdf

Solaris 8 is basically 13 years old so perhaps you should consider upgrading that first?
