Does anyone know what the range (from the base station) of the scanner is.  We need it to cover about 50 feet

in good conditionse, bluetooth goes about 30 feet. wi-fi can go quite a bit farther - couple hundred with some slowdown over the longer distance. with special antennas, one can go over a mile.

Thanks Gus.

Blue tooth may be ok but WIFI would definitely cover it – just a small store are about 30 by 40 feet with computer in one corner
