One of our Client is facing "OpenEdge Graphical Client has stopped working" error intermittently while accessing the OpenEdge GUI application. This application is interfaced with Microsoft Outlook as well for file transfer and processing. I have tried to search this issue in Progress Knowledgebase and found one article related to it (https://knowledgebase.progress.com/articles/Article/000067370). As per this article this issue seems to be progress defect and has been resolved in version 11.6.3, whereas our client is already in this version but still getting this error very frequently. Last time when client had this issue, they had reinstalled the progress and the issue got resolved that time. We tried the same approach this time but no luck. Do we have anyone faced this issue and got any resolution to fix it. Any kind of help will be highly appreciated.

"OpenEdge Graphical Client has stopped working" is a generic message displayed by Windows when an application has crashed. The knowledgebase article is about a specific issue which causes a crash but it's unlikely that it's the same issue your client is seeing.
A file called protrace.NNNN (where NNNN is the process ID) is usually written when the OpenEdge client crashes. If you find the file and post it may give us more information about what caused the crash.
