Visual Designer Shows blank for all classes

Hi

I installed the creators update over the top of my 11.7 trial install and now none of my classes load into the visual designer. There are no errors. They check syntax ok and seem to work fine when ran but all I get in VD is a white section with a yellow bottom section. No forms.

Its almost like it cant draw it. As soon as you click "properties", you get the objects on the form to select from as normal. Clicking "events" just shows a blank area.

This was I think all working before applying the creators update. I'm thinking of rolling it all back but wondered if anyone else had seen this and can tell me what to do.

Thanks

Darren

... but seems that this fixed the problem. Can you check?

It's the same with 11.6.3.

Not good. Really not good.

I'll give this a go. I can verify that its the creators update which did this as I rolled it back and it started working. I'll reinstall the creators update and see if this solves it.

Thanks

Defect PSC00356681 has been opened for this problem. Article 000081415, Form not visible in PDS after installing Windows 10 Creators update describes the defect and the workaround shown above.
