Download OpenEdge 11.6 fails to unzip

Hi All,

Anyone can help me? 

I join the group OpenEdge Classrooom and make the download of the software but, the File it fails when try to unxzip it.

any idea, how to solve this?

@Juan, not sure what makes you think the file doesn't unzip. What we know is that the silent install may take a little while to be completed (15 minutes) where you may believe nothing is happening.

Have you checked the OE Classroom installation and config available at community.progress.com/.../2567

@Jean, Yes, i have Windows 8.1 64 bits 8 GB RAM 

I make a download from Progress Classroom site and wait about 30 min to complete this.

the file size is 1.6 GB aprox and when i try to unzip this it shows.

Any idea?

Hi Juan,

the download has not completed correctly - could be an internet issue. The .zip file should be 2.53GB. You need to return to the download site and try again. There is a link to get back to the site in the e-mail you were sent when you first registered to download.

That's one of the reasons why md5 checksum files are used... verify data/file integrity.

The first download fails by origen, i try to download again and all works fine.
