I leave it up to Progress development to think about why customers need to invest time in „spring cleaning“ Progress Developer Studio projects… ;-)
I created an ant build script to automate PDSOE workspace maintenance tasks and to make it possible to execute those tasks while PDSOE is not running.
Some of the targets :
delete_PDSOE_caches Delete PDSOE caches
delete_rcode Delete ALL workspace r-code
spring_cleaning Delete all caches, rcode, ...
generate_all_config Generates config files (propath, dbconnections) for pct_compile
pct_compile_project PCT compile for a project
zip_logfiles Zip PDSOE log files for Tech support
It is shared on https://bitbucket.org/cverbiest/pdsoe_workspacetasks
Most dependencies such as PCT are included. You need to provide OpenEdge (tested with 11.3.2) and ant.
