COMPILE LISTING

Why, oh why, does it not support PAGE-SIZE = 0 to eliminate the page breaks?

Why, oh why, does it not allow enough space so that one can see all of reasonable program name?

Thomas,

Those sound like great enhancements.  Please submit them to the ideas forum.

Oh, and why when there are 17 columns allocated for the file name in the summary at the end does it show

...p\orde\ordepo00.p

instead of

op\orde\ordepo00.p

i.e., there is enough space in this case to display the file name intact, but it insists on the ellipses.

When no one submits and idea it will stay like that until OE20.3 at least.

Done community.progress.com/.../compile_listing.aspx

But, Ideas is going to be much more interesting when we can subscribe to email.

You should be able to subscribe to email already -  on the right panel is a 'manage subscription' link which lets you choose which forums' emails you'd like to receive (or a digest).

The wording is a little counterintuititve but it helps if you read the right-most column (labelled SUBSCRIBE) as "SUBSCRIBED" or "ALREADY SUBSCRIBE".

That link does not include Ideas, for me anyway.
